What are some good "meet the parents" types of outfits? I don't actually know how soon that's gonna happen, but I've just been in kind of a "new outfits" kind of mood and might want to do some thrift/vintage shopping soon.

I'm feeling the casual knee-length skirt/dress thing, and the mister says that looking "nerdy/geeky" would help my case (in other words, educated and non-threatening, hehehe).

I'm not worried about what to bring them like in the past--yesterday, I brought some white peaches for them and left a note because they weren't home when we stopped by.

Also, what did you wear when you met your significant other's/others' parents?
