Ask me to take a picture of anything from my world (within reason) and I will post it in my journal.

Keep in mind that "within reason" means I shouldn't get arrested from taking the photo, either.

Back in 2002, I filled out part of a "100 things I want to do before I die" list (part 1 and part 2).  I'm pleasantly surprised to learn that I fulfilled a few of these things.

• I've learned how to cook pho (#5), but I'm not particularly good at it.  Thankfully, I do know how to cook other things that taste okay (#6).


• I'll be teaching an English class in a few months (#8).  Going to China also covers a little of #15.


• I did get drunk once (#10) and buzzed several times.  I tend to be pretty touchy-feely when I'm buzzed, and when I'm drunk, I tell people how much I love them. :P


• I didn't go camping there, but I finally visited Lake Tahoe earlier this month (#21).


• I gained enough weight to donate blood (#29) and did donate.


• I haven't learned to make a basic cheesecake yet (#43), but I will be making mini-cheesecakes this weekend with MF (who enjoys making them).


• I've lived in three different cities for at least a year (#49), but I definitely don't want to decide where to settle just yet.


• Sort of worked in an office-setting for awhile (#56), and didn't do just paper-pushing.


• Thanks to the research gig, I have an opportunity to attend a formal event every Christmas I work for them so I have a chance to dress up (#76).

A couple of the listed items are pretty outdated, especially the ones about Yu-Hung.  I think I'll make another list.

I've been in a pretty mellowed out mood lately, so this song is perfect for that. 

2) Asian Kung-Fu Fighters - Kimi To Iu Hana (download)
My siblings introduced me to J-Rock with the music video.  It was so upbeat and mellow at the same time that I had to have it.  This song makes me happy.  :)

3) Green Day - When September Ends (download)
One of their less energetic songs.  I think I'm picking low-energy types of songs today because it's overcast in San Jose.

4) Nine Inch Nails - The Hand That Feeds (download)
High-energy.  This song makes me chipper for some reason.

5) Stan Getz - Manha de Carnival (download)
Something jazzy for you folks.  :)
